We just had the boys professional 6 month pictures taken on Sunday. It was cloudy and a little bit cold, but they did great. I cannot say enough good things about our photographer Courtney. She was awesome to work with. She said that she would have some pictures up on her blog by today. We left at 11:00 am and by the time I got to Milwaukee and was showing some of the gals her work she already had some up. I can't wait to see the rest, but for a sneak peek click here.
I also need to update everyone with the boys six month stats...mostly so I have it down somewhere and so I don't forget, but I promised Josh we could spend some time together tonight...finally after working late every night last week. One Tree Hill time...everyone have a fantastic night!

6 Months Old and Going GREEN!
Yep, that's right we're going green! We have taken the plunge and are so excited about it. We made the switch to cloth diapers and have been completely "sposie" free (Josh loves when I use message board lingo) for 24 hours. They did great with their CD's last night and were leak free. It makes us feel really motivated to do this because it seems like everyone doubts that we can. I'll keep you posted how it goes. We even got a few cute ones for now and Josh is trying to talk me into ordering a Camo diaper for sure...well then I want a basketball one...this does need to save us money!!!
I'm not sure what is more shocking that we switched to CD or that the boys are already 6 months old. I'll post more on that tomorrow (they have their six month check up tomorrow), but decided to share a few pictures with you. I've been playing with my camera more and more. I really want to take a digital photography class. It would be really good for me, so we'll see.
Enjoy the pics! I'm getting better with my frequent posts, huh?? It's a really good outlet for me - taking pictures and blogging. It's one thing I've decided to make time for every day, whether it's reading friends' blogs, taking pictures or editing them. It's really helped my stress level.

Their "Official" 6 Month Picture - Don't they look like little farmers? Watch out Grandpa Hodgson - they might take over the farm on ya!!
A diaper shot! We got these from another nestie off of Etsy - Baby Belle! They're so cute!My little A-Train...such a curious boy he's turning into!
My little thinker. This boy is ALWAYS contemplating something. He gets more and more like his mother every day I think-poor kid!! Getting a little creative here...a little cheesy I know, but it's my outlet, remember?

Happy Birthday Kelly!! (And GO BADGERS!!!)
We (Aidan & Brody) wanted to say Happy Birthday to Kelly! Thanks for everything you do for our mommy!! She says you're a really nice girl to work with and also told us you're partly responsible for the cuteness we're going to unload on everyone at Halloween. We can't wait to show everyone our costumes. We hope you have a great day and you get lots of good stuff!

Nifty, Nifty...Look Who's Fifty!!!
Okay, so I'm a little late on getting this post up, just like I'm a little late with her card and gift, but it's because she's such a slave driver! Anyways, the Wilson's (all of us) just wanted to give a little shout out to Big-Shirl! Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great year! Thanks for everything you do for us!!! Don't worry...that perfect gift is on it's way!
TGIS - It's a New Week!
Yep, that's right, TGIS - Thank Goodness It's Sunday. You see, my weeks begin on Sunday and run through Saturday, so today starts a new week and although I know it could be worse, I'm going to be more optimistic. I'm not sure that I made the right choice in deciding to teach this semester because although I don't know what it feels like when you're drowning...I imagine it feels much like what I felt like for the last 144 hours - yep that's six full days. You see we started our pre-season training on Monday. I went to spinning, looking forward to getting back at working out to come home and find a note from my husband on the door. Sweet, right? Nope...the babysitter was sick and he had the babies at the office...I needed to come right away. Lucky for me, on only my second day of teaching, I had to take the boys to work with me all day. It was a mess. And it seemed like the week got progressively worse as it rolled on. I feel like I don't have time for anything anymore. I mean I love my job, but these boys are my life. Between wrtiing pre-season workouts, contacting recruits, working on Pointer Pups, house cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, laundry, etc. how to I fit my boys in...not just A&B, but Josh too. I'm so frustrated and hope that we will slowly figure something out that will become more manageable for us because I am a perfectionist. Everything has to be done well, and I cannot stand when I do a job that isn't up to my standards. So here's to a cleaner house, better classes, a more organized mom and spending time with the three (make that four...can' leave Atlas out) most important boys in my life! Here's to a good....NO....GREAT week! Enjoy the pics.

The Cadillac!
In case you're looking for the perfect double stroller, I think I've found it. We recently won the Bumbleride Indie Twin off of ebay and absolutely love it. It has so many great features, and very few cons. The one disappointment was probably the sunshades...they're a little small and don't have great coverage for the boys right now (since they're still so small), but being in Wisconsin and going into fall I don't think that will be much of a problem for us. Some of our favorite things about it are: parent cup holder, add-on snack trays for the boys, super cushy seats, foot muffs for the cold, big basket underneath, adjustable push bar, five-point harness, carseat compatible, looks nice and it's magical. Yep that's right, magical. The boys sleep every time we go for a ride.
